Pune Airport To Get Full-Body Scanners In Later Phase

Pune's Lohegaon airport is being considered for the installation of full-body scanners as part of a phased rollout by the civil aviation ministry. The ministry has already approved the machines for eight major airports across India. Pune MP Murlidhar Mohol confirmed that the plan for Pune airport is under review and the scanners are expected in a later phase. This renewed focus on enhanced security measures follows a recent incident involving a FlyDubai flight.
