Magnitude 4.5 Earthquake Recorded Off Andhra Coast

A moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.5 struck the Bay of Bengal early this morning, approximately 200 km off the coast of Andhra Pradesh. The tremor was recorded at 5:05 AM IST at a depth of 10 km. The National Centre for Seismology confirmed the event, with its epicentre located at 16.805° N, 84.381° E.

आज सुबह आंध्र प्रदेश के तट से करीब 200 किलोमीटर दूर बंगाल की खाड़ी में 4.5 तीव्रता का मध्यम भूकंप आया। यह भूकंप सुबह 5:05 बजे 10 किलोमीटर की गहराई पर महसूस किया गया। नेशनल सेंटर फॉर सीस्मोलॉजी ने इसकी पुष्टि की है। भूकंप का केंद्र 16.805° N, 84.381° E पर था।
