He stressed that libraries are crucial for shaping children's futures and called for government development of libraries at all levels. Kumbar also raised concerns about significant delays in filling librarian vacancies across the state, highlighting a drastic reduction in staff at Karnatak University. The conference resolved to address these issues, including filling posts and strengthening rural and public libraries.

Kumbar ने लाइब्रेरी में AI टूल्स को लागू करने में सावधानी बरतने की सलाह दी है, उन्होंने कहा कि इससे इंसानी रचनात्मकता और सोच पर असर पड़ सकता है। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि बच्चों के भविष्य को आकार देने में लाइब्रेरी बहुत ज़रूरी हैं और सभी स्तरों पर लाइब्रेरी के विकास के लिए सरकार से कहा। Kumbar ने राज्य भर में लाइब्रेरियन के खाली पदों को भरने में हो रही भारी देरी पर भी चिंता जताई, उन्होंने Karnatak University में कर्मचारियों की भारी कमी को उजागर किया। सम्मेलन में इन मुद्दों को उठाने का संकल्प लिया गया, जिसमें पद भरना और ग्रामीण व सार्वजनिक लाइब्रेरी को मजबूत करना शामिल है।
