Her neighbours' kitchen extension had encroached onto her property, but a tribunal ruled in favour of the neighbours, Mina Sharma and Neil Deeley. The tribunal granted them "squatters' rights" through adverse possession, as the extension had been in place for at least two decades. The judge noted that property boundaries can be imperfect, and the neighbours were not required to demolish the disputed section of their kitchen.
