Iran: Hormuz Strait to Remain Closed Until US Meets Seven Conditions

Iran's top negotiator stated that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the United States agrees to Tehran's seven-day plan for reopening the waterway. Parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf indicated that Iran is prepared to negotiate but will also confront any aggression, emphasizing that the era of unilateral demands is over. He asserted that Iran's position is clear and definite, and the strait will not open until its seven conditions, based on the Islamabad memorandum, are met.

ईरान के शीर्ष वार्ताकार ने कहा कि होर्मुज जलडमरूमध्य तब तक बंद रहेगा जब तक अमेरिका तेहरान की जलमार्ग को फिर से खोलने की सात-दिवसीय योजना पर सहमत नहीं हो जाता। संसद के अध्यक्ष मोहम्मद बाघे़र गालिबफ ने संकेत दिया कि ईरान बातचीत के लिए तैयार है लेकिन किसी भी आक्रामकता का सामना भी करेगा, इस बात पर जोर देते हुए कि एकतरफा मांगों का युग समाप्त हो गया है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि ईरान की स्थिति स्पष्ट और निश्चित है, और इस्लामाबाद ज्ञापन पर आधारित सात शर्तों के पूरा होने तक जलडमरूमध्य नहीं खुलेगा।
