Court Orders Dealer To Refund Rs 28 Lakh

A Hyderabad consumer court has ordered a Tata dealership to refund Rs 28 lakh to a firm that purchased a faulty EV in August 2025. The partnership firm, M/s Refrigeration Equipment and Solutions, reported persistent issues with the Tata Harrier EV, including startup problems and smart key malfunctions, despite multiple repair attempts. The court found this constituted a deficiency in service.

हैदराबाद कंज्यूमर कोर्ट ने टाटा डीलरशिप को एक फर्म को 28 लाख रुपये वापस करने का आदेश दिया है। फर्म ने अगस्त 2025 में एक खराब EV खरीदी थी। M/s Refrigeration Equipment and Solutions नाम की फर्म ने टाटा हैरियर EV में बार-बार दिक्कतें बताईं, जैसे स्टार्ट होने में परेशानी और स्मार्ट की का काम न करना। कई बार ठीक कराने के बाद भी समस्या बनी रही। कोर्ट ने इसे सेवा में कमी माना।
