Protest Leader Returns to Agitation After Hospitalization, Vows to Continue Stir

Valarmathi, a protest leader for LPST rank holders, has returned to her hunger strike outside the Secretariat in Thiruvananthapuram after being taken to the hospital. She vows to continue the agitation until her demands are met, which include appointments from the Kerala Public Service Commission rank list before its expiry. The rank holders have been protesting for 117 days, demanding appointments to government and aided schools be made through the PSC. Valarmathi alleged police used force to remove her, despite her weakened condition after six days of fasting.

एलपीएससी रैंक धारकों की विरोध प्रदर्शन की नेता वलारमथी को अस्पताल ले जाने के बाद सचिवालय के बाहर अपनी भूख हड़ताल पर लौट आई हैं। उन्होंने अपनी मांगों के पूरा होने तक आंदोलन जारी रखने का संकल्प लिया है, जिसमें केरल लोक सेवा आयोग की रैंक सूची की समाप्ति से पहले नियुक्तियां शामिल हैं। रैंक धारक पीएससी के माध्यम से सरकारी और सहायता प्राप्त स्कूलों में नियुक्तियों की मांग को लेकर 117 दिनों से विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। वलारमथी ने आरोप लगाया कि छह दिनों के उपवास के बाद उनकी कमजोर हालत के बावजूद पुलिस ने उन्हें हटाने के लिए बल का प्रयोग किया।
