Meghalaya Assembly Speaker has recognised the merger of three UDP MLAs with the NPP. The MLAs, Paul Lyngdoh, Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar, and Nujorki Sungoh, will now be seated as NPP members in the legislative assembly. This development follows an order issued by the Speaker on October 23. The merger strengthens the NPP-led government's position in the state assembly.

मेघालय विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने तीन UDP विधायकों के NPP में विलय को मान्यता दे दी है। विधायक पॉल लिंगदोह, रेनिक्टन लिंगदोह टोंगखर और नुजोर्की सुंगोह अब विधानसभा में NPP सदस्यों के रूप में बैठेंगे। यह घटनाक्रम अध्यक्ष द्वारा 23 अक्टूबर को जारी आदेश के बाद हुआ है। इस विलय से राज्य विधानसभा में NPP के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार की स्थिति मजबूत हुई है।
