TMC has lost its chairmanships of two key parliamentary standing committees following a split within the party. Rajya Sabha MP Dola Sen was removed from the Commerce Committee, replaced by BJP's Sudhanshu Trivedi. Lok Sabha MP Kirti Azad was removed from the Chemicals and Fertilizers Committee, with the position given to rebel MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar. This shift occurred because the rebel faction, led by Ghosh Dastidar, has more MPs and has aligned with the NDA.

पार्टी में फूट पड़ने के बाद टीएमसी ने दो अहम संसदीय स्थायी समितियों की अध्यक्षता खो दी है। राज्यसभा सांसद डोला सेन को वाणिज्य समिति से हटा दिया गया है, उनकी जगह बीजेपी के सुभांशु त्रिवेदी को लाया गया है। लोकसभा सांसद कीर्ति आजाद को रसायन और उर्वरक समिति से हटा दिया गया है, यह पद बागी सांसद काकोली घोष दस्तीदार को दिया गया है। यह बदलाव इसलिए हुआ क्योंकि घोष दस्तीदार के नेतृत्व वाले बागी गुट में अधिक सांसद हैं और उन्होंने एनडीए के साथ गठबंधन कर लिया है।
