Punjab School Board Extends Full Salary, Benefits to Seasonal Workers

The Punjab School Education Board has implemented a new policy extending full monthly salaries, leave benefits, and social security provisions like ESI and EPF to 223 seasonal daily wage workers. Previously earning wages for only 12-18 days a month, these employees will now receive a full salary and 10 days of annual leave. The policy also grants service continuity until age 58, providing significant financial and employment security.

पंजाब स्कूल शिक्षा बोर्ड ने 223 मौसमी दिहाड़ी मजदूरों को पूरा मासिक वेतन, छुट्टी लाभ और ESI और EPF जैसी सामाजिक सुरक्षा का विस्तार करने वाली एक नई नीति लागू की है। पहले महीने में केवल 12-18 दिनों का वेतन पाने वाले इन कर्मचारियों को अब पूरा वेतन और 10 दिनों की वार्षिक छुट्टी मिलेगी। इस नीति के तहत 58 वर्ष की आयु तक सेवा निरंतरता भी प्रदान की गई है, जिससे महत्वपूर्ण वित्तीय और रोजगार सुरक्षा मिली है।
