Kolkata Police Suspect Serial Killer Gang Behind Two App-Cab Driver Murders

Times of India · india

Kolkata police are investigating the possibility that a single gang is responsible for the recent murders of two app-cab drivers within a week. Both victims were found strangled with their legs tied, and their belongings were stolen. Similarities include the drivers being from the Madhyamgram-airport area, the use of fake SIM cards, and CCTV footage showing three young men, sometimes with a woman. Investigators believe the suspects may have posed as passengers. The motive remains unclear as the vehicles were not taken, and police are reviewing CCTV and mobile data.
