Rumours suggested that Ram Charan's upcoming film RC 17, directed by 'Pushpa' fame Sukumar, would be a remake of the highly profitable Gujarati film Lalo Krishna. However, the makers have denied these reports, stating that the news is baseless. The confusion arose due to the film's logo featuring a peacock. Lalo Krishna, made on a budget of ₹50 lakh, reportedly earned ₹125 crore, a 250-fold return. RC 17's puja ceremony has been completed, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music, and the search for the lead actress is ongoing.
