The extensive process took between six to eight months to complete. Rao was inspired by a previous successful tree translocation in 2015, learning that mature trees require careful consideration of their roots and growing conditions. This initiative highlights an alternative to compensatory plantation, which often fails to replace the immediate ecological benefits of established trees.
