The NGT warned that the chief secretary would have to appear virtually if the official fails to attend the hearing. National Green Tribunal (NGT) ने हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्य सचिव को आदेश दिया है कि वे टाउन एंड कंट्री प्लानिंग के प्रमुख सचिव को अगली सुनवाई में पेशी सुनिश्चित करें। यह निर्देश तब आया जब प्रमुख सचिव राज्य की मानसून आपदा से हुए पर्यावरण नुकसान से संबंधित पिछली वर्चुअल सुनवाई में शामिल नहीं हुए थे। NGT ने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि अधिकारी सुनवाई में शामिल नहीं होते हैं तो मुख्य सचिव को खुद वर्चुअल रूप से पेश होना होगा। यह मामला विनाशकारी मानसून के बाद वनों की कटाई और अवैध निर्माण से जुड़ी पर्यावरणीय चिंताओं की जांच कर रहा है।
