Wenlock Hospital Bed Capacity to Increase Significantly

The Karnataka government has decided to increase the bed capacity at the Wenlock District Hospital in Mangaluru from 905 to 1,500 in phases. An order issued by the health and family welfare department stated that an additional 400 beds will be provided, with 200 beds to be added in the first phase. Necessary equipment will be procured according to public procurement rules, and a separate proposal for additional manpower is required.

कर्नाटक सरकार ने मंगलुरु के वेनलॉक डिस्ट्रिक्ट हॉस्पिटल में बेड की संख्या 905 से बढ़ाकर 1,500 करने का फैसला किया है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग के आदेश के अनुसार, पहले चरण में 200 और फिर 400 अतिरिक्त बेड जोड़े जाएंगे। इसके लिए जरूरी उपकरण खरीदे जाएंगे और अतिरिक्त स्टाफ की भी व्यवस्था की जाएगी।
