Clueless star not surprised by Brittany Murphy's death

Elisa Donovan, who starred with Brittany Murphy in Clueless, stated she was not surprised by her death in 2009. Donovan recalled their shared hairdresser expressing concerns about Murphy's well-being. She last saw Murphy in 2005, noting she appeared unwell and suspected eating disorder and drug problems. Murphy died of pneumonia with drug intoxication as a factor. Her husband also died of pneumonia months later.
