Yemen's Houthis claimed responsibility for a missile attack targeting Riyadh's airport late on Monday, marking the third consecutive day of assaults on the Saudi capital. Saudi air defence systems reportedly intercepted the missile, though residents reported hearing explosions. The attacks have led to the extended closure of Riyadh's international airport, with airlines cancelling flights. This escalation poses a significant security challenge for Saudi Arabia, impacting its economic diversification efforts and raising broader concerns about regional stability and potential economic consequences.
