Scientists are questioning the feasibility of establishing cities on the moon, despite the discovery of water ice in permanently shadowed craters near the lunar poles. While this water could support a "moon village" for survival, growing food, and basic amenities, the available amount may not be sufficient for large-scale settlements. Even a small city could deplete its water resources within a decade, raising doubts about ambitious plans for heavy industry and self-sustaining.
