Bihar CM Focuses on Affordable Medical Education and Quality Healthcare

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has declared that the state government's top priorities are ensuring quality healthcare within medical colleges and making medical education affordable for students. He chaired a health department review meeting, emphasizing the expansion of medical education while safeguarding student interests and patient rights. Proposals for brownfield medical colleges under public-private partnerships will prioritize public interest and strengthen the state's health system without compromising government ownership. The CM also stressed giving preference to Bihar-based investors and doctors for these initiatives to benefit state residents directly.

बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री सम्राट चौधरी ने कहा है कि राज्य सरकार की सबसे बड़ी प्राथमिकताएं मेडिकल कॉलेजों में गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्वास्थ्य सेवा सुनिश्चित करना और छात्रों के लिए मेडिकल शिक्षा को सस्ता बनाना है। उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य विभाग की समीक्षा बैठक की अध्यक्षता की, जिसमें छात्र हितों और मरीजों के अधिकारों की रक्षा करते हुए मेडिकल शिक्षा के विस्तार पर ज़ोर दिया गया। पब्लिक-प्राइवेट पार्टनरशिप के तहत ब्राउनफील्ड मेडिकल कॉलेजों के प्रस्तावों में सरकारी स्वामित्व से समझौता किए बिना सार्वजनिक हित को प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी और राज्य की स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था को मजबूत किया जाएगा। सीएम ने इन पहलों के लिए बिहार-आधारित निवेशकों और डॉक्टरों को प्राथमिकता देने पर भी ज़ोर दिया ताकि राज्य के निवासियों को सीधे लाभ मिल सके।
