Uttar Pradesh Scraps Housing Board NOC for Building Plan Approvals

The Uttar Pradesh government has eliminated the requirement for property owners and developers to obtain a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Housing and Development Board for building plan approvals. This move aims to reduce administrative hurdles, shorten approval timelines, and lower costs for real estate projects across the state. Previously, property owners within 500 metres of Housing Board schemes needed this NOC, adding complexity and potential delays.

उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने बिल्डिंग प्लान अप्रूवल के लिए प्रॉपर्टी मालिकों और डेवलपर्स को हाउसिंग एंड डेवलपमेंट बोर्ड से नो-ऑब्जेक्शन सर्टिफिकेट (NOC) लेने की ज़रूरत खत्म कर दी है। इस कदम से प्रशासनिक बाधाएं कम होंगी, अप्रूवल का समय घटेगा और राज्य भर में रियल एस्टेट प्रोजेक्ट्स की लागत भी कम होगी। पहले, हाउसिंग बोर्ड की स्कीमों से 500 मीटर के दायरे में आने वाली प्रॉपर्टीज़ के लिए इस NOC की ज़रूरत होती थी, जिससे काम और पेचीदा हो जाता था और देरी की संभावना बढ़ जाती थी।
