Man Murders Wife Over Dispute Near Hosur, Then Dies By Suicide

A 51-year-old man, Lakshmayya, murdered his wife, Vinodha, 46, following a domestic dispute in Chinna Elasagiri near Hosur. The couple, originally from Jesurajapuram, had been living on the outskirts of Hosur and are survived by their three children. Police suspect Lakshmayya, who was reportedly addicted to alcohol and frequently argued with his wife, assaulted her after a heated argument. He is then believed to have died by suicide. Neighbours discovered the bodies on Tuesday morning and alerted the authorities, who have registered a case and are investigating further.

होसुर के पास चिन्ना इलागिरी में घरेलू झगड़े के बाद 51 वर्षीय लक्ष्मणैया ने अपनी 46 वर्षीय पत्नी विनोधा की हत्या कर दी। यह जोड़ा मूल रूप से जेसुराजपुरम का रहने वाला था और होसुर के बाहरी इलाके में रह रहा था। उनके तीन बच्चे हैं। पुलिस को शक है कि लक्ष्मणैया, जो कथित तौर पर शराब का आदी था और अपनी पत्नी से अक्सर झगड़ता था, ने एक तीखी बहस के बाद उस पर हमला किया। इसके बाद उसने आत्महत्या कर ली। मंगलवार सुबह पड़ोसियों ने दोनों के शव देखे और अधिकारियों को सूचित किया, जिन्होंने मामला दर्ज कर आगे की जांच शुरू कर दी है।
