Greater Noida bus fire: 9 challans for overspeeding

A bus that caught fire on the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida, killing nine passengers, had accumulated nine challans in Delhi for violations like overspeeding and improper parking. The bus, travelling from Kashmere Gate to Mahoba, caught fire near the 33-km milestone. Preliminary investigations suggest a spark in the air-conditioning system or a short circuit caused the blaze. The driver and conductor have been arrested after allegedly refusing to stop the bus.

ग्रेटर नोएडा के यमुना एक्सप्रेसवे पर आग लगने से नौ यात्रियों की मौत हो गई। दिल्ली में इस बस पर ओवरस्पीडिंग और गलत पार्किंग जैसे नियमों के उल्लंघन के लिए नौ चालान काटे गए थे। यह बस कश्मीरी गेट से महोबा जा रही थी। आग लगने की वजह एसी सिस्टम में चिंगारी या शॉर्ट सर्किट बताई जा रही है। बस रोकने से मना करने पर ड्राइवर और कंडक्टर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है।
