Pakistan Army Officer Killed in IED Blast During Balochistan Operation

A 34-year-old Pakistan Army officer, Major Wajahat Waheed, was killed by an improvised explosive device blast during a security operation in Balochistan province. The incident occurred on Sunday in the Jattakabad area of Kalat district while forces were conducting operations against terrorists. Security forces also killed four terrorists and recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition in the same area. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the fallen officer, stating the nation is proud of his sacrifice for homeland protection.

रविवार को बलूचिस्तान प्रांत के कलात जिले के जट्टकाबाद इलाके में आतंकवादियों के खिलाफ सुरक्षा अभियान के दौरान एक इम्प्रोवाइज्ड एक्सप्लोसिव डिवाइस (IED) में हुए धमाके में 34 वर्षीय पाकिस्तानी सेना अधिकारी मेजर वजाहत वहीद की मौत हो गई। इसी इलाके में सुरक्षा बलों ने आतंकवादियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करते हुए चार आतंकवादियों को मार गिराया और भारी मात्रा में हथियार और गोला-बारूद बरामद किया। प्रधानमंत्री शहबाज शरीफ ने शहीद अधिकारी को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए कहा कि देश को मातृभूमि की रक्षा के लिए उनके बलिदान पर गर्व है।
