Outgoing Kerala Governor Says Higher Education Politicisation Serves No Purpose

Outgoing Kerala Governor Rajendra Arlekar stated on Thursday that politicising the higher education sector is unproductive. He described the differences of opinion encountered during his tenure as ideological, not controversies. Arlekar expressed gratitude for the acceptance he received from the people of Kerala, calling his time in the state constructive. He also noted maintaining a good relationship with the state government throughout his term. Governor-designate Om Prakash Mathur has arrived in Thiruvananthapuram for his swearing-in ceremony.

केरल के राज्यपाल ने कहा, उच्च शिक्षा का राजनीतिकरण किसी काम का नहीं

केरल के निवर्तमान राज्यपाल राजेंद्रन अरलेकर ने गुरुवार को कहा कि उच्च शिक्षा क्षेत्र का राजनीतिकरण करना बेकार है। उन्होंने कहा कि उनके कार्यकाल के दौरान मतभेद वैचारिक थे, विवाद नहीं। अरलेकर ने केरल के लोगों से मिले सम्मान के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया और कहा कि राज्य में उनका समय रचनात्मक रहा। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि उन्होंने अपने पूरे कार्यकाल में राज्य सरकार के साथ अच्छे संबंध बनाए रखे। राज्यपाल-मनोनीत ओम प्रकाश माथुर शपथ ग्रहण समारोह के लिए तिरुवनंतपुरम पहुंच गए हैं।
