Rajnath Singh Pushes for Integrated Financial Systems and Digitisation Across Defence Services

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has called for enhanced integration of financial systems for the Army, Navy, and Air Force, emphasizing maximum digitisation, automation, and transparency. He lauded the Defence Accounts Department's near 100% expenditure achievement in FY 2025-26 and launched digital initiatives like Saksham for accounting and payment ecosystems. Singh also unveiled systems to strengthen financial information integration, improve expenditure tracking, and operationalise the treasury single account system for autonomous bodies. These steps aim for real-time data sharing, paperless processing, and better grant management within the defence ministry.

रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने सेना, नौसेना और वायु सेना के लिए वित्तीय प्रणालियों के बेहतर एकीकरण का आह्वान किया है, जिसमें अधिकतम डिजिटलीकरण, स्वचालन और पारदर्शिता पर जोर दिया गया है। उन्होंने रक्षा लेखा विभाग की वित्तीय वर्ष 2025-26 में लगभग 100% व्यय उपलब्धि की सराहना की और लेखा तथा भुगतान पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र के लिए सक्षम जैसी डिजिटल पहलों की शुरुआत की। सिंह ने वित्तीय सूचना एकीकरण को मजबूत करने, व्यय पर नज़र रखने में सुधार करने और स्वायत्त निकायों के लिए ट्रेजरी सिंगल अकाउंट सिस्टम को चालू करने के लिए सिस्टम भी पेश किए। इन कदमों का उद्देश्य रक्षा मंत्रालय के भीतर वास्तविक समय डेटा साझाकरण, पेपरलेस प्रसंस्करण और बेहतर अनुदान प्रबंधन के लिए है।
