Kochi PWD Vacancies to Be Filled, Land Acquisition Process Revamped

The Kerala government will fill three vacant Assistant Executive Engineer positions in Ernakulam to expedite infrastructure projects. PWD Minister P K Basheer assured that project delays due to staff shortages will be addressed. To overcome land acquisition hurdles, the minister has requested a dedicated deputy collector and revenue wing for PWD projects. This specialized team aims to streamline compensation and land acquisition within nine months, enabling faster project completion. The government also urged the Kochi Corporation to expedite land acquisition for critical road developments.

केरल सरकार बुनियादी ढांचा परियोजनाओं में तेजी लाने के लिए एर्नाकुलम में तीन खाली असिस्टेंट एग्जीक्यूटिव इंजीनियर पदों को भरेगी। पीडब्ल्यूडी मंत्री पी के बशीर ने आश्वासन दिया कि कर्मचारियों की कमी के कारण परियोजनाओं में देरी को दूर किया जाएगा। भूमि अधिग्रहण की बाधाओं को दूर करने के लिए, मंत्री ने पीडब्ल्यूडी परियोजनाओं के लिए एक समर्पित डिप्टी कलेक्टर और राजस्व विंग का अनुरोध किया है। इस विशेष टीम का लक्ष्य नौ महीने के भीतर मुआवजे और भूमि अधिग्रहण को सुव्यवस्थित करना है, जिससे परियोजनाओं को तेजी से पूरा किया जा सके। सरकार ने महत्वपूर्ण सड़क विकास के लिए भूमि अधिग्रहण में तेजी लाने के लिए कोच्चि निगम से भी आग्रह किया है।
