This strong forecast follows a robust 7.8% growth in the first quarter, indicating sustained economic momentum. Growth is supported by strong industrial output, rising energy consumption, and improved freight movement, reflecting healthy domestic demand. However, the report also warns of external risks like West Asian geopolitical tensions impacting oil prices and potential weather-related impacts on food prices.
