AFC Champions League Elite Match Postponed Due To West Asia Situation

Sportstar · sports

The AFC Champions League Elite match between Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr and UAE's Al Wasl, scheduled for Monday in Riyadh, has been postponed by the Asian Football Confederation. No reason or new date has been provided for the delay. The postponement is linked to the escalating clashes between the Saudi-led coalition and Houthi forces in Yemen, which have led to airport targeting and teams travelling by road. This follows three Saudi Pro League matches also being postponed this month for logistical reasons, indicating a potential ongoing trend.
