A flawed FSL report in Rajasthan led to the arrest and jailing of a woman officer, Hemlata Kankariya. The SOG investigation revealed that FSL Deputy Director Dr. Ramesh Chaudhary is now considered guilty in the same case. The probe found irregularities in the report preparation and evidence tampering. Kankariya stated the false report ruined her social standing and led to her son's engagement breaking. The home department submitted a chargesheet, initiating departmental action against Dr. Chaudhary.

राजस्थान में एक गलत एफएसएल रिपोर्ट के कारण महिला अधिकारी हेमलत कंकरिया को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेजा गया था। एसओजी की जांच में पता चला है कि अब उसी मामले में एफएसएल के उप निदेशक डॉ. रमेश चौधरी को दोषी माना जा रहा है। जांच में रिपोर्ट तैयार करने और सबूतों से छेड़छाड़ में अनियमितताएं पाई गईं। कंकरिया ने बताया कि झूठी रिपोर्ट ने उनकी सामाजिक प्रतिष्ठा को बर्बाद कर दिया और उनके बेटे की सगाई टूट गई। गृह विभाग ने डॉ. चौधरी के खिलाफ विभागीय कार्रवाई शुरू करते हुए आरोप पत्र दाखिल किया है।
