US Presses Lebanon to Confiscate Hezbollah Weapons After Truck Intercepted

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun regarding the recent interception of a truck carrying 780kg of explosives. Hezbollah acknowledged the shipment was intended for operations against Israel. Rubio urged Aoun to hold accountable those responsible and prevent the return of explosives to Hezbollah. He also advocated for direct military communication between Lebanese and Israeli forces for deconfliction. President Aoun requested Rubio press Israel to halt attacks in southern Lebanon. Lebanon will investigate Hezbollah members linked to the incident.
