4.5 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Bay of Bengal

A moderate earthquake of magnitude 4.5 struck the Bay of Bengal off the coast of Andhra Pradesh early Sunday morning. The tremor was recorded at 05:05 IST at a depth of 10 km. The National Center for Seismology confirmed the event. While no damage has been reported, such seismic activity in the region warrants monitoring due to its proximity to densely populated coastal areas.

रविवार सुबह आंध्र प्रदेश के तट से दूर बंगाल की खाड़ी में 4.5 तीव्रता का मध्यम भूकंप आया। यह भूकंप सुबह 05:05 बजे 10 किलोमीटर की गहराई पर महसूस किया गया। नेशनल सेंटर फॉर सीस्मोलॉजी ने इसकी पुष्टि की है। अभी तक किसी नुकसान की खबर नहीं है, लेकिन इस इलाके में भूकंप की गतिविधि पर नजर रखना जरूरी है क्योंकि यह घनी आबादी वाले तटीय इलाकों के करीब है।
