48 साल के एक शख्स को खाना पकाने को लेकर हुए झगड़े के बाद अपने भाई की हत्या करने के जुर्म में उम्रकैद की सज़ा सुनाई गई है और उस पर 50,000 रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया गया है। यह घटना 23 अगस्त 2024 को राजस्थान के बाड़मेर में हुई थी, जहाँ आरोपी ने अपने भाई पर कुल्हाड़ी से हमला कर दिया था। पुलिस ने वारदात के 12 घंटे के अंदर ही आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया था। कोर्ट ने 17 गवाहों की गवाही के बाद सुनवाई में आरोपी को भारतीय न्याय संहिता की धारा 103(1) के तहत दोषी पाया। यह मामला दिखाता है कि घरेलू झगड़े किस हद तक हिंसा का रूप ले सकते हैं।
