Two helicopters operated by Fishtail Air and Dynasty Air crashed in Nepal after their rotor blades collided mid-air. The incident occurred as the aircraft were approaching the Pheriche helipad for landing. CCTV footage captured the dangerous proximity of the two choppers before the collision. One of the deceased has been identified as 47-year-old Vasant Kumar Balara Madu, while an injured person is 53-year-old Shailesh Kishan Patel, a New Zealand citizen of Indian origin. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal is investigating the cause of the accident.
