GRSE Shares Surge 9% After ₹53,866 Crore Defence Ministry Deal for Warships

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) shares experienced a significant surge of over 9% in intraday trading, marking their best single-day gain in six months. This rally followed the Defence Ministry's announcement of contracts worth ₹53,866 crore with GRSE and Goa Shipyard Limited. The deal involves the procurement of eight next-generation warships for the Indian Navy, aimed at enhancing its combat capabilities. GRSE will construct five corvettes, while GSL will build the remaining three, marking a milestone in indigenous warship design and construction.

गार्डन रीच शिपबिल्डर्स एंड इंजीनियर्स (GRSE) के शेयर इंट्राडे ट्रेडिंग में 9% से ज़्यादा उछले, जो पिछले छह महीनों में उनकी सबसे अच्छी एक-दिवसीय बढ़त है। यह तेज़ी रक्षा मंत्रालय द्वारा GRSE और गोवा शिपयार्ड लिमिटेड के साथ ₹53,866 करोड़ के अनुबंधों की घोषणा के बाद आई। इस सौदे में भारतीय नौसेना के लिए आठ अगली पीढ़ी के युद्धपोतों की खरीद शामिल है, जिसका उद्देश्य उसकी युद्धक क्षमता को बढ़ाना है। GRSE पांच कॉर्वेट बनाएगा, जबकि GSL बाकी तीन बनाएगा, जो स्वदेशी युद्धपोत डिजाइन और निर्माण में एक मील का पत्थर है।
