Indian Enterprises Struggle with AI Implementation Despite Increased Investment
Hindustan Times · business
A recent Adobe report reveals that only 6.7% of Indian enterprises have successfully scaled AI across multiple workflows, with 59% facing challenges moving beyond pilot projects. This is despite 77% of companies increasing their AI investments year-on-year. Key reasons for this stall include IT and security rejections, with 35% of proposals failing IT evaluation and 17% rejected at security review. Furthermore, only 10% of businesses comprehensively measure AI's return on investment, focusing instead on usage rather than tangible outcomes like cost reduction or quality improvement.
