The inspection, part of a statewide drive against power theft, revealed suspected unauthorized supply bypassing the meter. A case has been registered against the mill operator under the Electricity Act, 2003. This action aims to curb illegal connections and ensure fair electricity usage across the state.

उत्तर प्रदेश पावर कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (UPPCL) की विजिलेंस टीम ने गोंडा जिले के एक औद्योगिक फ्लोर मिल में 64.32 किलोवाट बिजली चोरी का कथित मामला पकड़ा है। यह जांच राज्यव्यापी बिजली चोरी विरोधी अभियान का हिस्सा थी, जिसमें मीटर को बायपास कर अवैध सप्लाई का संदेह पाया गया। इलेक्ट्रिसिटी एक्ट, 2003 के तहत मिल संचालक के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया गया है। इस कार्रवाई का मकसद अवैध कनेक्शन पर रोक लगाना और पूरे राज्य में बिजली के उचित उपयोग को सुनिश्चित करना है।
