Kerala HC Orders Chargesheets Against Vellappally Natesan in Microfinance Cases Within Two Weeks

The Kerala High Court has directed the investigating officer to file chargesheets within two weeks against SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan and other accused in microfinance cases. Justice A Badharudeen clarified that prosecution sanction from the government is not required for filing these chargesheets. The court's interim order addresses a delay caused by a dispute over the necessity of such sanction. The investigation, supervised by the High Court, concerns allegations of misappropriating ₹15.85 crore disbursed under a microfinance scheme between 2003 and 2014.

केरल हाई कोर्ट ने जांच अधिकारी को माइक्रोफाइनेंस मामलों में SNDP योगम के महासचिव वेल्लापल्ली नतेसन और अन्य आरोपियों के खिलाफ दो हफ्तों के भीतर चार्जशीट दाखिल करने का निर्देश दिया है। जस्टिस ए. बदरुद्दीन ने स्पष्ट किया कि इन चार्जशीटों को दाखिल करने के लिए सरकार से अभियोजन की मंजूरी की आवश्यकता नहीं है। अदालत के अंतरिम आदेश में ऐसी मंजूरी की आवश्यकता पर विवाद के कारण हुई देरी को संबोधित किया गया है। हाई कोर्ट की निगरानी में चल रही जांच, 2003 और 2014 के बीच माइक्रोफाइनेंस योजना के तहत बांटे गए ₹15.85 करोड़ की कथित हेराफेरी से संबंधित है।
