India's Pincky Balhara has won a bronze medal in Kurash, a wrestling sport with a 3500-year history, at the Asian Games 2026. This marks her second medal in Kurash at the Asian Games, making her the first Indian to achieve this feat. She previously won a silver medal in 2018. Balhara secured her medal by defeating South Korea's Lim Garam in the quarter-finals of the women's 78 kg event. Although she reached the semi-finals, she was defeated, preventing her from upgrading her medal colour.

भारत की पिंकी बलहारा ने एशियन गेम्स 2026 में 3500 साल पुराने कुश्ती खेल, कुराश में कांस्य पदक जीता है। यह एशियन गेम्स में कुराश में उनका दूसरा मेडल है, जिससे वह यह उपलब्धि हासिल करने वाली पहली भारतीय बन गई हैं। उन्होंने इससे पहले 2018 में रजत पदक जीता था। बलहारा ने महिलाओं के 78 किग्रा वर्ग के क्वार्टर फाइनल में दक्षिण कोरिया की लिम गारम को हराकर अपना मेडल पक्का किया। हालांकि वह सेमीफाइनल में पहुंचीं, लेकिन हार गईं, जिससे वह अपने मेडल का रंग नहीं बदल पाईं।
