Indian T20 captain Shreyas Iyer is on the verge of a significant record in the upcoming series against West Indies. Iyer has led India to nine consecutive T20 International victories. Should India win the first T20 match in Lucknow, it will mark his tenth consecutive win as captain. This achievement would place him second only to Rohit Sharma in Indian cricket history for consecutive T20I wins as captain. Iyer aims to surpass Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav, who also have nine wins.
