UAE Deports Accused in VHP Leader Vikas Prabhakar Murder Case to India

Harwinder Kumar, an accused linked to Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), has been deported from the UAE and arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). He is implicated in the 2024 killing of Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Vikas Prabhakar in Punjab's Nangal area. Prabhakar was shot dead by BKI operatives in an attempt to create communal unrest, allegedly at the behest of Pakistan-based BKI chief Wadhawa Singh. Kumar allegedly provided logistical support and financing for the murder, acting as a recruiter and handler for operatives abroad.
