India, UAE Forces Train in Mountain Warfare Skills at Ranikhet Drill

Ninety-two personnel from the Indian Army and the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces are participating in the 14-day joint military exercise 'Mountain Guardian-2026' in Uttarakhand. The drill, held at the Foreign Training Node in Chaubatia near Ranikhet to 18, focuses on enhancing high-altitude tactical skills. The exercise aims to improve operational interoperability and coordination for missions in demanding mountain environments. The initial phase includes specialized mountain warfare techniques and physical conditioning, with future phases incorporating advanced field technology and joint tactical maneuvers.

भारतीय सेना और संयुक्त अरब अमीरात सशस्त्र बलों के 92 जवान उत्तराखंड में 14 दिवसीय संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास 'माउंटेन गार्जियन-2026' में भाग ले रहे हैं। रानीखेत के पास चौबटिया में फॉरेन ट्रेनिंग नोड में 18 तक आयोजित यह अभ्यास, उच्च-ऊंचाई वाले सामरिक कौशल को बढ़ाने पर केंद्रित है। इस अभ्यास का उद्देश्य चुनौतीपूर्ण पहाड़ी वातावरण में अभियानों के लिए परिचालन अंतर-संचालनीयता और समन्वय में सुधार करना है। प्रारंभिक चरण में विशेष पर्वतीय युद्ध तकनीकें और शारीरिक कंडीशनिंग शामिल हैं, जबकि भविष्य के चरणों में उन्नत फील्ड तकनीक और संयुक्त सामरिक युद्धाभ्यास शामिल होंगे।
