Goa Revises Taxi Fares After Five Years

Goa's government has revised taxi fares for tourist and black-yellow taxis for the first time in five years, introducing a new tariff structure. The revised fares feature higher base rates and distance-based slabs, replacing the previous flat-rate system. Separate tariffs are now in place for standard and hotel-attached vehicles. Additional charges apply for night travel, waiting times, and journeys outside municipal limits. Passengers will also pay tolls, ferry charges, and taxes separately, with fare charts to be displayed prominently.

गोवा सरकार ने पांच साल बाद टूरिस्ट और ब्लैक-येलो टैक्सियों के किराए में बदलाव किया है। अब नई दरें लागू होंगी, जिनमें बेस रेट और दूरी के हिसाब से अलग-अलग स्लैब होंगे। पहले की फ्लैट रेट व्यवस्था खत्म हो गई है। स्टैंडर्ड और होटल से जुड़ी गाड़ियों के लिए अलग-अलग किराए तय किए गए हैं। रात में सफर, इंतजार और शहर के बाहर जाने पर अतिरिक्त शुल्क लगेगा। टोल, फेरी चार्ज और टैक्स अलग से देने होंगे। किराए की सूची प्रमुखता से प्रदर्शित की जाएगी।
