Ruling parties have maintained their dominance in by-elections held across West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, and Puducherry. In Tamil Nadu, Vijay's TVK party showed significant growth, securing leads in two constituencies. West Bengal saw the BJP continue its strong performance, leading in both Nandigram and Rejinagar, with the Chief Minister noting minority community support. Assam's BJP also held a firm lead in the Nagaon Lok Sabha seat by-election. Puducherry's ruling party secured the Thattanchavady seat, reinforcing the incumbent's position.
