SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav Opts Out of UP Assembly Elections

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has decided not to contest the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. He believes his electoral success is tied to not fighting elections himself, citing his past experience of becoming Chief Minister while serving as a Lok Sabha MP. Yadav aims to campaign across the state for the party and its PDA alliance. If the SP forms the government, he plans to assume the Chief Minister's post later via the Legislative Council or a by-election.

समाजवादी पार्टी के प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव ने उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव नहीं लड़ने का फैसला किया है। उनका मानना है कि उनके चुनाव न लड़ने से पार्टी को चुनावी सफलता मिलती है, जैसा कि उन्होंने पहले लोकसभा सांसद रहते हुए मुख्यमंत्री बनकर अनुभव किया था। यादव का लक्ष्य पार्टी और उसके पीडीए गठबंधन के लिए पूरे प्रदेश में प्रचार करना है। अगर सपा सरकार बनाती है, तो वह बाद में विधान परिषद या उपचुनाव के जरिए मुख्यमंत्री पद संभालेंगे।
