Concerns have also been raised about a shortage of gunny bags and alleged refusal by commission agents to facilitate procurement. Farmer leaders are demanding that the market committee's moisture meter be the final authority for readings, as variations can lead to significant deductions. The deputy commissioner has assured that complaints will be investigated.

हरियाणा के जींद जिले में किसान धान की खरीद में देरी, स्टॉक उठाने में सुस्ती और नमी की रीडिंग पर विवाद को लेकर विरोध कर रहे हैं। नरवाना और सफीदों अनाज मंडियों के किसानों का आरोप है कि नमी की मात्रा की सीमा पूरी करने के बावजूद वे दिनों से इंतजार कर रहे हैं। बोरियों की कमी और कमीशन एजेंटों द्वारा खरीद में सुविधा देने से कथित इनकार को लेकर भी चिंता जताई गई है। किसान नेताओं की मांग है कि रीडिंग के लिए मार्केट कमेटी का नमी मीटर अंतिम प्राधिकारी होना चाहिए, क्योंकि भिन्नता से काफी कटौती हो सकती है। उपायुक्त ने आश्वासन दिया है कि शिकायतों की जांच की जाएगी।
