Kerala Minister Alleges Devaswom Officials Involved In Sabarimala Ghee Scam

Kerala Devaswom Minister K. Muraleedharan has alleged that some Devaswom officials are involved in the ghee scam affecting the Sabarimala temple. This comes after a transport contractor was arrested for diverting 11,000 litres of Milma ghee meant for the temple and replacing it with a cheaper product. The alleged diversion caused an estimated loss of ₹2.5 crore to the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB). The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau is investigating the case following a High Court directive regarding alleged irregularities in ghee procurement and quality.
