कर्नाटक हाई कोर्ट ने राज्य सरकार और बेंगलुरु डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी (BDA) को नोटिस जारी किया है। यह नोटिस एक याचिका के संबंध में है जो BDA के अपने मौजूदा मुख्यालय को गिराकर नया भवन बनाने के फैसले को चुनौती देती है। BDA बोर्ड ने 30 दिसंबर, 2025 को अपने 50वीं वर्षगांठ के मौके पर मौजूदा ढांचे, जिसमें 'डेवलपमेंट भवन' एनएक्स भी शामिल है, को गिराने का प्रस्ताव पारित किया था। याचिकाकर्ताओं का तर्क है कि इमारत चालू हालत में है और वे सार्वजनिक धन के खर्च पर सवाल उठाते हैं। उन्होंने BDA पर कथित कर्ज और हालिया ऑडिट की कमी का भी हवाला दिया है।
