Telugu Distributor Slams AI Deepfakes After Janhvi Kapoor Incident

Filmmaker Ravi Shankar, distributing the Telugu version of 'Hanuman Ansh', has condemned the misuse of artificial intelligence following a deepfake video of Janhvi Kapoor. He stated that the youth are becoming 'polluted' by AI, making it difficult to discern real from fake content. Shankar emphasized the need for films with spiritual themes to instill positive values in society. Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor also condemned the incident, with Kapoor calling it a criminal violation akin to sexual assault. Many other celebrities have voiced their disapproval of such AI misuse.

तेलुगु संस्करण 'हनुमान अंश' के वितरक रवि शंकर ने जान्हवी कपूर के डीपफेक वीडियो के बाद आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस के दुरुपयोग की निंदा की है। उन्होंने कहा कि युवा AI से 'प्रदूषित' हो रहे हैं, जिससे असली और नकली सामग्री में अंतर करना मुश्किल हो गया है। शंकर ने समाज में सकारात्मक मूल्य स्थापित करने के लिए आध्यात्मिक विषयों वाली फिल्मों की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। जूनियर एनटीआर और जान्हवी कपूर ने भी इस घटना की निंदा की, कपूर ने इसे यौन उत्पीड़न के समान आपराधिक उल्लंघन बताया। कई अन्य हस्तियों ने भी AI के ऐसे दुरुपयोग पर अपनी नाराजगी व्यक्त की है।
