PM Modi Reviews Cyclone Damage With Andhra CM Naidu; State Seeks Aid

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to assess the impact of two recent cyclones, Arnab and Murasu. The state has reported extensive damage, including crop losses across hundreds of thousands of hectares and significant destruction to roads and electricity infrastructure. Preliminary assessments indicate total damages of approximately ₹4,906 crore from both cyclones. Naidu briefed the Prime Minister on the situation and requested central assistance for relief and restoration efforts to aid affected farmers and restore normalcy.
