The operation, which ran from 7 am to 8 pm, successfully removed over 8,000 tonnes of waste from across the city. The JMC deployed 1,150 hoppers and 102 other sanitation vehicles to manage the extensive cleanup. Beyond waste removal, the drive also addressed unauthorized hoardings and stray cattle. This initiative aims to enhance city sanitation for the upcoming festive season, though sustaining these levels will be a challenge.
